Kids & Youth Swimming Pool Safety

There is nothing more important than keeping our kids safe around pools. Make sure you use the Ada County "Water Watchers" program at your home or community pool. It's free to download.

As the designated Water Watcher, this individual will know they are in charge of watching anyone in or around the pool, avoiding distractions and familiarizing themselves with all pool safety equipment.

Always watch children around the pool and never leave them unattended.
Learn how to perform CPR on adults and children.
Share safety instructions with family, friends and neighbors.
Learn to swim and make sure kids do, too.
Use your safety equipment! Pool covers and fence gates only work when they are closed.

Educating your family about these life-saving rules will ensure a safe and fun swimming pool experience.
